DESCRIPTION:Naturalist 101 Field Trip: Carnegie Homes of Cumberland Island\nTuesday\, March 10 • 9 AM – 6 PM • Cumberland Island\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStep back in time as we tour the famous “cottages” of the Carnegie family on Cumberland Island! We will depart from St. Mary’s by ferry. Once on the island\, participants will be guided by OHM’s naturalist Stephanie Chewning around the historic ruins of the Dungeness\, then ride up to Stafford Place for lunch with private chef MiMi McGee. After lunch\, we’ll join the Park Service tour of Plum Orchard. We will end the day by heading back to Stafford Place for tea before boarding the ferry back to St. Marys. This is a unique opportunity to visit all three homes in one day. Space is limited\, so please register early to secure your spot. \nParticipants will receive full details in their confirmation email after registration.
