They will host a community discussion about EPA’s Interim Early Action Proposed Plan to address contaminated groundwater and subsurface soil for OU2 on Thursday\, August 29 from 5:30 to 7 pm at Howard Coffin Park (1402 Sonny Miller Way). \n\nThere will also be an Informal Information Session hosted by EPA representatives at Howard Coffin Park on August 29 between 11 AM and 1 PM. Swing by to ask questions\, get information\, and prepare for the public information meeting. \nThe Interim Proposed Plan and other Site-related documents can be found at www.epa.gov/superfund/lcp-chemicals-georgia. \nThe public comment period on the proposed plan is open through September 5. You can offer your public comments at the meeting on August 29 or via email (pope.robert@epa.gov). DESCRIPTION:BRAG Dream Team 30th Anniversary East Coast Greenway Youth Bike Tour: Brunswick Community Ride\nSaturday\, June 22 • 10 AM\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSince June 2020\, youth in the Gullah/Geechee Dream Team Club have been leading a Brunswick Community Bike Ride to support Ahmaud Arbery’s family in their fight for justice and to build a beloved community in Brunswick where everyone feels safe\, walking\, running\, or riding a bike. \nIn celebration of the Dream Team’s 30th anniversary\, members of the Gullah/Geechee Club\, along with young members of other Dream Team clubs\, will embark on a 5-week cycling journey with the East Coast Greenway Alliance from June 17 to July 21\, 2024. \nThe East Coast Greenway Youth Bike Tour will pass through Brunswick on Saturday\, June 22. They’re asking all Dream Team “Club C” members to join them for their monthly Brunswick Community Bike Ride on that day. “Club C” members are you—adults\, kids\, business owners\, community leaders\, and “any ally who believes in the dream.” \nLearn more about the Dream Team and support their work at BRAGDreamTeam.org.
