EPAEPA Public Meetings to discuss Early Action Cleanup Plan for Honeywell’s LCP Chemicals Superfund Site in Brunswick

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announces a public meeting and information sessions for Honeywell’s LCP Chemicals Superfund Site, Operable Unit 2 (OU2). They will host a community discussion about EPA’s Interim Early Action Proposed Plan to address contaminated groundwater and subsurface soil for OU2 on Thursday, August 29 from 5:30 to 7 pm at Howard Coffin Park (1402 Sonny Miller Way).
There will also be an Informal Information Session hosted by EPA representatives at Howard Coffin Park on August 29 between 11 AM and 1 PM. Swing by to ask questions, get information, and prepare for the public information meeting.

The public comment period on the proposed plan is open through September 5. You can offer your public comments at the meeting on August 29 or via email ([email protected]). When providing written comments, please include “LCP Chemicals OU2.”
