Every year, our staff attend community events, conferences, and festivals to educate about One Hundred Miles, Georgia’s 100-mile coast, and ways they can help. These are long and rewarding days—made even greater by volunteers!

We want to help YOU help OHM at outreach and tabling events. Join us for an Outreach Volunteer Training on Wednesday, October 2 from 2 – 3 PM at the OHM Office (7 Glynn Ave., Brunswick)! Familiarize yourself with the mission and vision of One Hundred Miles, our current advocacy and education work, and more.

Come along for snacks, interesting and informative conversation, and confidence-building exercises. We’ll be preparing for two upcoming volunteer opportunities (Okefenokee Fest in Folkston and Skidaway Marine Science Day, both on October 12). Please indicate your availability for these events when registering. More tabling opportunities will come, so please join us even if you can’t make these events. (And we’ll have additional volunteer trainings coming soon—stay tuned for future opportunities to get involved!)
